Power delivery through Raspberry Pi

When there is no power flowing through a Raspberry Pi, the issue can arise from various factors related to the power source, cables, connectors, or the Raspberry Pi itself. Here are the common causes and troubleshooting steps to diagnose and resolve the issue:

Power Supply Issues & External Peripherals Drawing Too Much Power

• Ensure that the power supply is working properly with another device
• Insufficient or faulty Power Supply; we recommend 18W (5.25V, 3.5A) for our RPI 4 cases, 27W (9V, 3A) for our RPI 5 cases and supplied 60W for RPI 4 NAS case

Port Issues

• Loose Connection; we recommend that all ports and plugs are seated properly and securely to avoid interruption and prevent power from flowing

Faulty Raspberry Pi Board

• Internal Damage; confirm that the Raspberry Pi is working correctly and seek professional assistance otherwise

We recommend conducting a Power Cycle to verify that power is able to flow through the case:

Argon ONE

1. Plug top portion of the case to recommended power suply

2. Press the power button for 5 seconds

3. Wait for the LED and fan to turn on (similar below) before shutting down again

This should verify that power is able to flow through the case.
